During Blasksmith Nats we drive with our Corvette body so we could race in the Nostalgia SVDA class. The Mustang body is unfortunately a little too new.

Our best run was a 7.86s with 275km/h in final speed, surly the car can go faster than that. But we are still very happy with the run ;)

We were 4′th qualifier with in the Nostalgia class.
But in qualifying race we dropped a valve. We seem’s to have been lucky, ass what we could see there was no major damage.
But it remains to be seen when the engine is completely disassembled.

As usual on Kjula it is full speed and amazingly fun, so big thanks to SVDA and Rod & Custom.

We are sorry for late posting

We did three qualifying run’s and one elimination run where we got beaten.
All along we hade problems getting fuel and air mix just right. The weather was great with high temp but also quickly changing humidity.
Still we are very happy to have made it down the track in four run’s.

Tierp Arena is truly an amazing facility and what a race track. This is exactly what Swedish dragracing need and we looking forward to more run’s on this track.

We also meet Hannu Palasmaa a Mad Croc sponsored Stock Super Stock team. So we had an awesome photo session with our cars and photographer Patrik Jacobsson from racebilder.nu.

We’ve also been waiting on parts from the U.S. Although there are good suppliers in Sweden like Persåkers Speed Shop there is nothing that can beat the shops in the states, they just have everything.

The body has Hasse at “Hasse’s Skylt & Text” worked hard on and it’s just finished. It’s exactly as we hoped it to be, really awesome. Or what do you think?

The engine has got a complete review. What’s remains is some assembly and that we will do it this weekend when we have a gathering with the whole team.
So if you have the way by Vårgårda this weekend, come by and have a look.

It’s not just the car we been working with. We also ordered new team apparel through Dinskjorta.se, where Lasse Söderqvist helped us to get our design on some great shirts and pants.

We’ve still not completely planned our calendar for this year, but we can say that our first event is during the easter at the Custom Motor Show in Jönköping, Elmia.

It has been a some body changes and engine upgrades over the years. But for season 2011 we have planned to do even harder and focus a bit more.

We will try to beat us into the Swedish Championship of Competition Series and we are doing it with a new Funny Car. Although it is the same engine we used in 2010 we are currently working on a “small” upgrade for it.

The body is a Fort Mustang -01 from John Force Racing (USA), one that Robert Hight drove. The chassis is from our former Funny Car built by Eagle Race and raced by Swedish Top Methanol FC driver Leif Andreasson was in TMFC season of 1996.

Our Internet presence has helped us a lot over the years. So we want to do a bit more and we start with the release of this new website.
We have chosen to try to write everything in English so our international friends are able to follow us through the season.
Of course, we will continue to update through Facebook and Twitter, too.
